Abrasive Wheel Instructor Course – €550
To provide information and practical demonstration to allow participants to comply with safety regulations for safe use of abrasive wheels. The aim of the abrasive wheel instructor course is to give participants the correct skills knowledge and resources to be able to deliver an abrasive wheel’s training course. It is suitable for trainers that wish to be an abrasive wheels Instructor and deliver the abrasive wheels course commercially, or in-house trainers who wish to deliver the course to employees within their company.
Abrasive Wheels training is delivered over half a day, typically from 09:00 – 12:00
Course Objectives:
Investigations of accidents caused by abrasive wheel breakages and the circumstances in which they have occurred revealed that most could have been avoided by the application of safety precautions. The risk of breakage is inherent in every abrasive wheel. If the frequency of breakage is to be kept low, the initial care exercised in design, manufacture and test by abrasive wheel and machine makers should be coupled with the adoption of sound safety measures. Training in the use of abrasive wheels may be carried out internally, if expertise is available.
