At the awards ceremony on 22 November 2024, held at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Cork, Derry was honoured for his pivotal role in driving the rapid success of EHS International since its launch in October 2023.
Derry’s visionary leadership was instrumental in the opening of our state-of-the-art €3 million Safety Training and Research & Development facility in Little Island, Cork, setting a groundbreaking benchmark for fire safety training across Ireland.
Our Chairperson, Alf Smiddy, was honoured for his outstanding leadership and decades of dedication to the business community. With over 30 years of experience, Alf has held major roles, including Chairman and Managing Director of Beamish & Crawford plc and Board positions with Scottish & Newcastle (UK) Ltd. His strategic insights into fostering innovation have been instrumental in driving EHS International’s growth.
