EHS International is Proud to Support Fire Safety at the UK Youth Rocketry Challenge
We are thrilled to share that the EHS International fire team played a pivotal role in providing expert fire safety support at the recent UK Youth Rocketry Challenge (UKROC). This prestigious event is not just a competition; it’s a launchpad for future engineers and scientists!
What’s the UKROC? UKROC offers an exceptional platform for young enthusiasts aged 11-18 from schools, colleges, and youth groups across the UK to design, build, and launch model rockets. The goal? Safely carry a fragile payload (like a raw egg) sky-high! It’s an inventive challenge that combines creativity with critical STEM principles, aiming to propel students into potential careers in aerospace, defence, and space sectors.
International Aspirations: Post the national finals, the UKROC ramps up the excitement by sending the winning UK team to compete on an international stage against peers from the USA, Japan, and France. Imagine the thrill at either the Farnborough International Airshow or the Paris Airshow!
