EHS International, a leading Irish provider of environmental, health, and safety (EHS) solutions, has announced an exclusive partnership with Australian technology innovator FLAIM Systems. The collaboration brings FLAIM’s world-class virtual reality fire training simulators to Ireland for the first time, with EHS International also offering the technology to its growing international client base.
This next-generation training solution uses 4D virtual reality, combining heat, resistance, hose pressure, and real firefighting equipment to deliver dozens of realistic emergency scenarios. From basic extinguisher handling to advanced industrial and defence response simulations, the platform provides immersive, hands-on training without the dangers, environmental impact, or high costs of traditional live-fire drills.

Unlike conventional methods, FLAIM’s simulators save significant resources — each session conserves hundreds of litres of water, up to 50 litres of hazardous foam, and over 20 kg of CO₂ emissions. This sustainable approach not only reduces risk but also supports compliance with Irish and EU safety legislation, making it ideal for sectors such as pharmaceuticals, food production, manufacturing, and emergency services.
The flagship product, FLAIM Trainer, will be delivered and supported by EHS International’s expert training team. The VR solution also enables individual performance tracking, enhancing training outcomes and ensuring readiness in real-world emergency situations.
