EHS International celebrated a week of outstanding achievements at two major business awards, which saw our CEO and founder Chris Mee being named Business Person of the Year 2024.
The company also secured two additional wins at the Little Island Business Association (LIBA) Awards, including Investment of the Year and Health & Safety Team of the Year. These accolades come at a time of significant growth for us, as we just officially opened our €3 million Safety Training and Research & Development facility in Little Island, establishing a new benchmark for fire safety training nationwide.
Held on 17 October at the Radisson Blu Hotel & Spa, Cork, the LIBA Awards recognise the contributions of over 1,000 businesses and 12,500 employees driving growth in Cork’s largest business district.
Earlier in the week, on 11 October, EHS International was also recognised at the Cork Digital Marketing Awards, winning Best Use of LinkedIn for Business(for companies with 20+ employees). The event, hosted by Cork Chamber at the Oriel House Hotel, Ballincollig, brought together over 270 business professionals from across the region to celebrate Cork’s leading digital successes.

The Little Island Business Association’s annual awards, along with the Cork Digital Marketing Awards, are key events for the Cork business community, providing a platform for companies to highlight their most impactful achievements and celebrate their contributions to the region’s growth and innovation.
