The EHS International PHECC FAR course is a comprehensive training program that covers a wide range of essential 1st aid skills and knowledge for all aspiring 1st responders in the workplace. The Pre-Hospital Emergency Care Council (PHECC) is the leading accrediting body for First Aid training. 

Our comprehensive and practical three-day First Aid course is designed to train personnel who need to deal with medical emergencies in their workplace.  Our First Aid Training Courses are available to all businesses, Private Groups,  Clubs and the general public on both a PRIVATE and a PUBLIC basis.  

Topics that are covered in the PHECC First Aid Response course: 

• Introduction to first aid 
• Patient assessment  
• Cardiac first response [CFR]  
• Common medical emergencies such as Diabetes, Epilepsy, Asthma and Anaphylaxis.  
• Injury management and shock 
• Care of the unconscious patient 
• Burns and electrical injury care 
• Hypothermia and hyperthermia 
• Information management 
• Critical Incident Stress Management  

Our course also includes hands-on training in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR), the use of automated external defibrillators (AEDs), and other important first aid skills. 

Prerequisites:

No prior requirements are necessary for enrolment.  

Certification:

Upon successful completion of this course, participants will have the knowledge and skills necessary to provide effective first aid in a variety of emergency situations, and they will receive a PHECC certificate that is valid for two years.
