Delivered by our highly experienced and fully accredited, SOLAS registered instructors, the course covers all the essential health and safety topics required by SOLAS, ensuring participants are fully compliant to work safely on construction sites across Ireland. Requirements

To participate, each attendee must bring the following:

  1. One passport-sized photo
  2. One stamped, self-addressed envelope
  3. Photo ID (Passport, Driver’s License, or Public Services Card)
  4. PPS number. If you do not have an Irish PPS number, a SOLAS issued process number is required. If this applies to you, please do not proceed with an online booking.
  5. A good standard of English (equivalent to an International English Language Testing System (IELTS) score of 6.0 or higher).
  6. All site learning areas/classroom must be pre-approved by SOLAS instructors prior to the training.

A one-day program, led by authorized SOLAS Safe Pass Tutors, it equips participants with essential knowledge to create a safer work environment. The HSA is the enforcing agency for Occupational Health and Safety in Ireland

Q: Who needs a Safe Pass?

A: All construction site and local authority personnel in Ireland must have a Safe Pass to access work sites.

Q: What are the requirements to attend the course?

A: Participants must be at least 16 years old, have a valid Irish PPS number, and possess a good standard of English if attending an English-language course.

Q: Can I book a Safe Pass course online?

A: Yes, you can book a public Safe Pass course online for locations in Cork, Dublin, Waterford and other areas. If you wish to book a private training course you will need to contact us at [email protected]

Q: How long is the Safe Pass card valid?

A: The Safe Pass card is valid for four years. After this period, renewal through a designated test or full-day course is required.
