The EHS International team, proudly showcased its commitment to sustainability at the recent Irish Waste Management Conference 2024, held at the Aviva Stadium Conference Centre in Dublin.
Having been speakers at the 2023 conference, EHS International was thrilled to once again engage with industry professionals and thought leaders at this premier event, organized by the Irish Waste Management Association (IWMA) and The Chartered Institution of Waste Management (CIWM).
The conference commenced with an insightful opening address by Philip Nugent, Assistant Secretary at the Department of Communications, Climate Action and Environment, highlighting the pivotal role of progressive waste policies in fostering a Circular Economy.
Throughout the day, attendees were treated to a diverse array of sessions covering economic assessments, food waste management, circular economy transitions, and legal updates on waste legislation.
Keynote speaker Dan Cooke, President of CIWM, emphasized the importance of excellence in waste management and its profound impact on carbon reduction and resource efficiency, resonating strongly with EHS International’s ethos.
